  37. Of course, the tech is only transmitting on 2m.

  39. Same is true for even novices (one ham in Bellevue has his HEO sat station
  40. coupled to a 220Mhz repeater, so all (including novices) can work the
  41. satellites!

  43. Same is true of coupled repeaters (say 2m and 10m).

  45. In fact, sats are an excellent way to introduce techs to DX.

  61. About the problem of transmitting on 10Meters through RS10: 
  62. I am a no-code ham, and i wished to "test" some satellite communications before
  63. buying a better equipment. The easiest way was RS10.
  64. I also wondered if it was legal. I looked for an answer in many books.. No
  65. answer !!
  66. So i phoned the REF , and talked to them about my problem.. 
  67. The answer was (in fact): You don't have the right, but you can do it..
  68.  
  69. This is a french point of view ! And that maybe explains why nobody deals with
  70. this problem in books.. So i made my QSO on RS10.. And heard some other no-code
  71. hams !
